Breakdown Information

Before coming on site for Breakdown ALL Exhibitors must go to the car park on the Green, located opposite the front of the Palace, KT8 9BW, and check in with the traffic marshals.  This can be done from 8am on Monday 31st August.  All vehicles for Breakdown will be parked up in Stand order, (stands prefixed with A or B or C or D or R or F or S).  Vehicles can be parked on the Green all day and then exhibitors can return to their vehicles for Breakdown.

 

Once the show has closed and all visitors are clear of the site, we will commence breakdown. 

 

Due to the tight width of the gravel pathways, and the fact that no vehicles can touch the grass, the traffic marshals will then send small convoys of vehicles from each stand run, this will ensure we ease congestion on site and control and preserve the protected grounds of the Palace.    Please wait to be called forward by the traffic marshals, before moving forward.   The traffic marshals will only release vehicles in a manner which permits controlled movement to the palace gate and being able to park on site close to your stand.   Cars will be sent over first followed by vans. 

 

There will be no direct access to Flower Pot Gate.

 

No one under the age of 16 will be permitted on site when the show is not open to visitors.

 

Please email viv.orchard@vivevents.co.uk if you are intending to bring any vehicles over 7.5 ton size so that we can schedule your delivery.

 

Vehicles are not permitted on the grass. No Artic lorries are allowed on site at any time.

 

All exhibitors and contractors will be required to wear appropriate, closed toe shoes and hi-vis vests during build up and breakdown.
